OWENS CORNING, USA reported net sales of US$1.590 billion for the second quarter of 2005, an increase of 10.3% from the same quarter last year.

For the first six months of 2005, sales totaled $2.992 billion, a 12.9% increase on 2004.

Their second quarter sales have been the highest of any quarter in OC's history. Strong sales with improved pricing have helped them offset energy, material and product delivery-related cost pressures.
