REICHHOLD, Research Triangle Park, North Carolina, USA, and Turkish companies Prosim and Ege Kimya have announced a strategic alliance to manufacture unsaturated polyester resins for composites applications and saturated polyester resins for powder coatings in Turkey.

Reichhold and Istanbul-based Prosim have formed Reichhold Turkey, which will market composites and powder coating resins in the Turkish market. Prosim has been involved in selling Reichhold products since 1999.

Reichhold Turkey has signed a manufacturing agreement with Ege Kimya, which will upgrade its resin manufacturing plant in Adapazari, Turkey, to manufacture Reichhold products. “Bringing Reichhold technology with local manufacturing to our customers will set new performance standards in the Turkish market,” said Semih Isçimenler, managing director of Prosim.
